The Mist in black and white is director’s version

The Mist is one of the best horror films to hit theaters in years.  While most of horror has gone the way of for cheap torture-porn thrills, The Mist was a throwback to everything that helped make classic horror films.  It was slow and methodical.  It knew where it was going, but it never tipped its hand too heavily. Red band trailer

In case you are unsure, red band trailers are essentially R-rated cuts of trailers.  Where a normal movie you see in theaters has has basically no cursing or gore, red band trailers are free to include such things.  You may not be familiar with them since they’ve been missing from most theaters for a while now, but that is about to change.
