It’s hard to get very excited for a Michael Bay movie trailer.  Yes, there will undoubtedly be a slow-motion explosion at some point in the Friday the 13th (even if Bay just produced it).  Still, this new trailer could possibly look worse, and that’s sort of a silver lining, right?

Actually, not really.  Jason now moves fast?  Really?  This is the direction they decided to go?  Supposedly along with this clip from Comic-Con came the news that Jason will be smarter and more clever with setting traps.  So, instead of making Michael Myers Vs. Jason, they just decided to combine the two characters, with a little of Freddy thrown in for good measure?  Can’t wait.  They should have just made this instead.

    Your video is no longer available! This website sure has some shoddy management.

    I also heard that the entire movie takes place during sunset and will feature at least one 15-minute highway car chase. And at the end Crystal Lake just explodes.

    Ok, I’ve read what you wrote twice and I’m not sure if you are excited about this or not but here’s my thoughts….

    Michael Myers Vs. Jason? I hope this isn’t something you want to see someday…what are you 12? No offense ;-)

    As far as Jason moving fast and being someone who grew up watching those movies and a true fan of Jason, yeah…It’s A GREAT IDEA! It makes the film more realistic and I have no issue’s with a smarter Jason either.

    Look man, this is why horror fans get a bad rap, because of guys like you. There’s nothing wron with re-inventing and making something better. Stop being a fan boy and get excited! Micheal Bay is going to bring quality to the Friday The 13th Franchise. Ever since Friday The 13th 2…THEY ALL SUCKED!

    as a fan of the series as well, i must agree with brady. friday the 13th is an insane terrible/great series. it’s not about who’s directing or producing, it’s about jason fuckin murdering, slashing, gutting, stabbing, slicing people from fucking groin to head, fucking punching peoples heads off. justin, im fucking stoked jason’s going to be faster and clever. you have no right talking shit, especially with that michael vs. jason bullshit.
