While Heath Ledger’s performance as the Joker has been getting most of the headlines from this summer’s Batman Begins sequel, Two Face is certainly coming on strong.  The thing is, the buzz isn’t so much about Aaron Eckhart’s performance as Harvey Dent as it is about his eventual look as alter-ego Two Face.  With that buzz has come a variety of “false” positives, but which is the real Two Face?

The above image is from the trailer and the closest anyone has to a “real” final look.  Sure, his face is still hidden fairly well, but you can see that it’s scarred.  Still, this isn’t the conclusive final look many have been hoping for.

This second image is said to be from a test design that is “close” to the final look.  How close?  Who knows, but Harvey certainly looks more Night of the Living Dead than Batman in it.  The final styling might be similar, but don’t count on it being quite so gruesome.

The third image is an outright fake and appears to just be some fun with Photoshop.  It’s certainly a weird direction to take the character, as he looks more he had an allergic reaction to a bee sting than scarred with acid or anything.  So good to know it’s a fake.

The final image is of the one sheet poster featuring Harvey Dent.  Note that the right half of Harvey’s face is covered by his hand and campaign button.  Also note that all of the above images feature the left side of his face being the deformed one.  The left side is the more accurate side for the comic book character, so this is obviously just done for stylistic reasons.  Still, seems a goofy error that could have been easily fixed.
