So, you mean, it won’t just be called The X-Files 2?  Shocker.  No, instead this summer’s X-Files sequel will be titled The X-Files: I Want to Believe.  Yes, it is a bit wordy.

One clever forum poster even compared it to sounding like the stage musical version of The X-Files, no doubt written by Joss Wheedon.  The title works with the show, but is anyone actually ever going to refer to it by that name?  Won’t everyone simply call it X-Files 2?  It just sounds so…awkward.
