What is it with black leather?  Why does every comic book turned film have to drape its heroes in black leather?  Are they all bikers?  Aren’t moviegoers already suspending their disbelief enough with flying people to accept they might wear orange?

Apparently now if you’re the producers of G.I. Joe.  After the reveal of Snake Eyes many fans were quite pleased with the costume design.  It made sense.  Now comes Scarlett, and she honestly looks like any character from any other spy film.  Was the black leather really necessary?  Yes, actress Rachel Nichols is very attractive, but she can be so in garb that doesn’t fit quite so much like a latex glove.
