Joseph Gordon-Levitt says G.I. Joe just like playing with action figures

Remember Third Rock from the Sun?  Joseph Gordon-Levitt sure does, as it’s the show that put him in the spotlight.  However, as his career progresses from child star to Hollywood leading man, he begins to resemble other TV actors from the past, such as Tom Hanks and .

Like those two actors, he’s gone from a silly TV role to making a mix of serious and silly films.  His newest serious project might be Stop Loss, but the one everyone is talking about his casting as Cobra Commander in .  Gordon-Levitt compares the experience of making the film to playing with toys.  That’s a good sign for fans, as it means perhaps they aren’t taking something decidedly non-serious too seriously.
