Britney Spears is a sad case of Hollywood gone wrong.  Here’s a young woman with obvious talent and charisma, and for whatever reasons she has almost thrown it all away.  However, hope springs eternal in Hollywood, and for Britney it comes via the CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother.  Britney will guest star on the March 24 episode in which she will play a mousy receptionist enthralled with the character Ted.  Apparently Britney’s people approached the show and they simply cast her in a small role that had already been written.  Does that mean no Hit Me One More Time jokes?  One can only hope so.
